Mission and context of the role
Manage physical and logical inventory and storage optimization at warehouse level. The Warehouse Planner is based in León, Guanajuato in one of the biggest sites of Michelin around the world.
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Inventory and storage management:
• Guarantees accuracy of physical and logical inventory and their consistency by coordinating and overseeing cycle counting, location auditing and inventory control procedures in compliance with audit requirements
• Develops and maintains the storage optimization strategy through the local WMS (Warehouse management system) parameterization to ensure secure, fast, efficient and accurate warehousing operations, in accordance with Group standards.
• Analyses and solves inventory discrepancies between BSM - Oracle
• Supports the operational teams for standards implementation
Work methods:
• Applies methods and procedures to manage physical and logical inventory
• Contributes to continuous improvement to enhance work methods and results
