The Role\: Warehouse Quality Engineer

 

Overview\: The successful candidate must be familiar with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, Quality Fundamentals, Schneider Performance System (SPS), PFMEA, PCP, i2P, and Continuous Improvement Tools. The candidate must also be a team player/leader who works well with diverse groups of people. Candidate considered for this role must have the drive for results, and experience applying and adapting tools and methods to achieve performance goals.

 

What will you do?

Lead problem-solving for customer complaints and non-conformities by applying 8D, Kaizen, Six Sigma and statistical methods to identify root causesLead implementation of corrective and preventive actions focusing on continuous improvement for quality and customer satisfactionPromote quality culture and deploy Quality FundamentalsLead quality inspection guidelines using technical/product knowledge (inbound, in-process & outbound defects) for the Distribution CenterDrive Quality Excellence in Logistics (from Suppliers to Customers\: receiving, picking, packing, shipping, transportation, returns, etc.)Implement quality documentation such as PFMEA, process control plan and work instructionsLead continuous process improvements impacting non-quality costs and customer returnsLead and apply quality systems based on ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001 standards for both internal and external auditsLead QMS audit scoping, oversee the audit process, manage team interactions, define the audit program & assign tasksProvide organization and guidance during Audit while coaching the auditorsConduct interviews, tests, and data analysis to identify root causes, evaluate process efficiency, and make recommendations for compliancePresent significant findings to both Auditees and Management Team including the final audit reportExecute data extraction, consolidate results and propose impactful visualizationsConduct interviews and perform additional tests to validate working assumptions & ensure analytical reliabilityFacilitate and partner with SME’s to develop training and build quality awareness using quality methodologiesManage Quality KPI’s (LDR, IDR, SRT, DCR, Quality Fundamentals, NQC/SRT/CoPQ, CR Aging, RPN etc)Prepare Quality Reports based on defined cut-offDrive RPN Reduction with Logistics Engineering & Warehouse TeamLead Supplier & LDR Reviews and drive improvementsLead & ensure compliance to Layered Process AuditsManage quality-related line disruption, alerts and PRB containment actionsIdentify & capitalize on best practices in qualityLead key quality cards & support SPS requirementsParticipate in Customer Visits & assist in Last-Mile Delivery AuditSupport packaging improvements, cargo securing and sustainability projectsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (CCC, Replenishment, Line of Business, Packaging, Plants/Suppliers, Transport, Warehouse, etc) to drive improvement opportunities

 

 

Who would be successful?

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic) is required5 years’ experience in Logistics/Manufacturing Quality, Logistics/Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalentExperience with Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma tools, 8D Problem-Solving methodology, tool utilization (i.e. 5 Whys, Fishbone (cause & effect), A3, DMAIC, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, Process Auditing, Process Capability analysis, ISO, and Poka Yoke design, Gauge R&RSix Sigma Green Belt certification is desirable Quality Auditor CertificationStrong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards8D & PFMEA CertificationExcellent skills in leadership, communication both verbal and written, and attention to detailsStrong desire to work with people, on the warehouse floor and with customer interface, excellent follow-up and execution skillsTableau knowledge is a plus to improve/digitize CS&Q reportsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and adapt to changing prioritiesStrong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint & other collaboration toolsWork location\: Rosario, Cavite
