The Refrigeration Technician provides technical and operational support for the distribution center's refrigeration system, facility, and support equipment. You will also be trained and certified as an Emergency Response Team member.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Perform preventive maintenance work on industrial refrigeration equipment (both ammonia and Freon®).Service and repair equipment as needed.Interpret drawings and specifications.Record and monitor refrigerant use, scheduled maintenance, and compliance with all applicable laws.Assist with the daily activities of the Maintenance department.Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

A pertinent technical degree OR equivalent with a certificate in HVAC.At least 3 years of industrial refrigeration experience, including industrial ammonia systems.Experience with Johnson Controls/FRICK or GEO/FES.
