Warehouse Shuttle Truck Driver – 1st Shift
Shift: This role is 1st Shift, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Hourly Rate: $22.19 an hour

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Operator (shuttle Truck) is responsible for driving a medium-duty 26ft box truck (max GVW of 26,000lbs). CDL not required! Will also be responsible with forklift and handling all shipping and receiving duties, while maintaining a safe working environment. Primary activity of moving materials and equipment from offsite warehouse to plant Warehouse. The Warehouse Operator will also be responsible for material handling, using an RF gun to process and track inventory, and transporting materials throughout the facility and between the 2 sites. Warehouse employees are required to work in various areas as assigned, including the cooler and freezer, and reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary operator of medium-duty box truck for site.

Ability to maintain fuel card and fill truck as needed with diesel fuel

Ability to identify mechanical issues with truck and elevate for service

Driver will be responsible for filling truck and offloading truck for each load moved, in tandem with Warehouse teams at both sites.

Transporting raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift, reach truck, dock stocker, ride-on pallet jack or ASRS system

Using an RF gun to perform transactions, including: receiving, put away, transfers, and performing inventory inquiries

Conducting pre-shift inspections on equipment to ensure safe use during the day and communicating any issues to Warehouse Supervisors

Performing vehicle inspections by checking tires, lights, brakes, and the reefer unit

Maintaining a clean working environment

Able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30lbs frequently

Able to lift, push, pull, up to 50lbs occasionally

Performing basic preventive maintenance and maintenance tasks as assigned

Informing Warehouse Supervisors of raw material shortages

Adhering to the Company's safety policies and procedures

Working in other areas as needed to help the business

Verify each pallet moved is the correct item, lot, weight, or quantity and scanned to the correct physical location.

Work in a cold environment, 0 degrees.

Work overtime as required to achieve production and shipping schedules.

Other duties as assigned

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required

Associate's degree in business or related field preferred

CDL not required, but a plus

Minimum Requirements:

Must have forklift experience

Must have experience driving a light duty vehicle in work experience

Must hold an active driver’s license in state where you reside

No DUI in the past 7 years

No recordable “at fault” accidents in the past 3 years

No moving violations in the past 12 months

No more than 2 points on driving record

Drivers must have the ability to pass a DOT physical (Conagra will provide access to physical)
