Join our team and help us confront today’s most threatening and complex obstacles! Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time Warehouse Specialist opportunity available based in Tampa, FL. ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES + Become proficient in the operation of A2B Tracking software for government property accountability. + Ability to interface with shipping and freight forwarder companies in order to obtain the most cost efficient and suitable solution for shipping of materials and equipment to government locations for the successful execution of Cambridge assigned projects.  + Receives, stores, and issues materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Keeps records and compiles stock reports.  + Stages, loads and unloads finished product and raw materials.  + Stocks and maintains the warehouse inventory.  + Packages finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).  + Stages and loads finished product for loading.   + Unloads raw materials to warehouse storage.  + Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices; stores articles according to identifying factors; fills orders or issues supplies from stock; requisitions stock to fill incoming orders; and prepares stock use reports.  + Determines methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space.  + Operates within standard operating procedures and by safety guidelines and policies.  + Operates forklifts and may perform preventative maintenance on the equipment.  + The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.  + The employee is required to reach with hands and arms.  + The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. Required QUALIFICATIONS + High School Diploma plus advanced training, and 1 - 2 years of experience. + Must be proficient in using different technologies such as computers and other tools and systems pertinent to the position. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS + In rare occasions, overnight travel may be required. PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements.  If this position requires OCONUS travel (listed above), Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil lists applicable current vaccination requirements by location. + Must be able to work in an office and industrial environment. + Must be able to lift and move materials not to exceed the guidelines set for a one-man lift. + Must be able to work at above normal elevations. + Standard ladder heights (6’, 8’, 10’ and 12’) as well as scaffolding, boom lifts and scissor lifts. + Must be able to perform site visits and carry a laptop computer and other required tools.
