Warehouse Specialist
Our client is leading health solutions organization with over 300,000 dedicated employees nationwide. The Warehouse Specialist will play a critical role in the shipping and receiving of computer equipment for all end users. This position will sit onsite in Hartford, CT and the shift will be M-F 8:30-5:00 including a 30-minute lunch break (Summer will be later hours so candidate must have flexibility). This individual will be responsible for pick packer activities including making boxes, boxing computers, and including the proper accessories in each package. This individual will also use a pallet jack for unloading packages from dock, loading packages on the dock, and moving around to storage areas. They may also be responsible for coordinating the shipping, receiving, and labeling of desktops and laptops as they are exchanged with manufacturers and end-users.

Knowledge of shipping policies or the ability to quickly learn and follow shipping policies is required. We are seeking individuals with great communication skills who are organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment who can quickly hit the ground running. Since this position falls within the IT division, there is potential to learn about the build and troubleshooting of PCs and ramp up in the IT space throughout the contract. The ideal candidate would have an interest in IT and computers. This position offers a great opportunity to gain exposure to an IT environment.



Compensation:
$20/hr to $24/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
