Primary Function:
Responsible for executing warehouse policies and procedures and implementation of safety, quality and operational excellence programs in the warehouse to drive safe, compliant and efficient operations.Responsible for training of all internal warehouse personnel and outsourced service providers.Responsible for material receiving and dispatch and for the processing of inbound and outbound deliveries according to company policies and procedures.Ensures the orderly stocking and/ or efficient flow of both inbound and outbound materials/ products.Maintains and updates the purchase order system as shipments are received, cancelled or back ordered.Responsible for materials put-away to storage and issuance of materials to production according to company policies and procedures.Responsible for overall inventory management (onsite and 3PL warehouses)Updates management on all inventory issues on a regular and as-needed basis.Responsible for asset management and maintenance of equipment and assets under the care of WarehouseProcesses inventory paperwork.Documents accuracy.Compliance to regulatory requirement.Meet AMS safety standards & quality standards.Timely fulfillment of order.Manage performance of contractorsWarehouse operations (on site and 3PL)
Ensure daily container unloading plan is prepared for site inbound and ensure timely receipt s of inbound deliveries including at 3PLEnsure timely return of empty containers to the yardEnsure smooth turnaround for loading of Finished Goods for outboundResponsible for waste materials collection from AMSKeep proper records for inbound, outbound and waste management.Manage outsource service providers (3PL) to ensure compliance with related policies and procedures, ensure 3PL capability to support continuity of business activities and ensure3PL achieve performance to meet operational needsEnsure onsite contractors are trained and qualified for the jobEnsure warehouse operations are compliant to safety and quality policies and proceduresEnsure proper Material Control and handling methods are in placedInvestigate e and improve site processes that impact 3PL material movement and inventory controlResponsible for periodic review of 3PL warehouse process to ensure safe and compliant operations to procedures.Roll out established systems and procedures to shop floorMaintain GMP standards
Develop and maintain effective warehouse cleaning regimeComply to warehouse cleaning regime.Manage warehouse cleaning contractors.Maintain effective Pest control measures in warehouse.Investigate Pest/micro events and recommend corrective/ preventive actions to minimize pest ingress and keep presence of microbes within limits.Comply to Pest control measures in warehouse.Maintain good waste management practicesPeriodic inspections to ensure no temperature excursions in crit ical storage conditions.Work closely with QA/Pest Engineer to ensure 3PL warehouse meets Abbott quality and Product Safety requirement.Quality systems
Investigator and Resolution writer for quality related events in warehouse.Write procedures, Prepare Job Aids and training materials on procedures related to warehouse activitiesPrepare for audits, attend to audits and close CAPA actions from auditsResponsible to work with functional process owners to develop, review and update their respective procedures.Safety

Responsible for overall inventory accuracy through daily/ weekly/ monthly audit of inventory control activities such as cycle counting, scrap and returns.Ensure timely completion of scrap disposals and verify the completion of scrap transactions in the systems against physical disposal.Responsible for overall material and inventory accuracy of incoming materials and outgoing materialsManage replenishment of warehouse supplies.Asset Management
Responsible for management of warehouse assets, including but not limited to storage racks, fork trucks, material handling equipment, conveying systems, pallets and CCTVs located within the warehouse premises. Keep proper records, timeline preventive maintenance according to vendor recommended schedules, keep track of all reported damages, schedule on time repairs, ensure operator care programs in place to drive responsible use of company's assetsCompetency Training
Responsible for onboarding of new warehouse employees and contractors. Ensure timely completion of all related training. Review training methods and materials and make adjustment to the training content to ensure training is relevant to the operations.Financials
Responsible for financials related to equipment maintenance, waste disposal, cleaning and material supplies. Keep proper records to ensure compliance with finance policies, verify billings and keep track of expendituresResponsible to assess and investigate damage claimsManage overtime and ensure spend is within the plan and LBE.Ensure CIP is delivered according to commitment.Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain or related disciplinesMinimum 5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations in manufacturing plantExperienced in food/pharmaceutical/ GMP plant preferredCIP / Warehouse Excellence and material control experience advantageousWell versed in SOP/CAPA writingInventory control techniques, MS office tools, warehouse operations management skills.*Kindly note this position is based in Tuas.
