Warehouse Specialist B - Bell-Giro
Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW

The Warehouse Associates move and store materials, supplies and finished goods, to designated departments or an area within the facility either manually or by hand truck. Rotates through a variety of roles related to warehouse functions.

This position reports to the Distribution Lead and is based out of our Rantoul, IL office.  

 As the Warehouse Associate, you will have an opportunity to:

Pick sporting good items in Manual Mode, Semi-manual Mode or Fully Automatic Mode for filling customer orders.Pick or pull product utilizing work order instructions to ensure the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.Examine product to ensure that picking specifications are met.Deliver picked product as specified on WCS (warehouse Controls System) instructions.Pick, package or wrap a variety of materials.Inspect items for defects, label carton, stamp information on product.Ensure the correct packing materials are available at the packing station to fulfill the order.Keep a record of items packed.Place identification labels on full skid loads.Stack packages on loading docksInteract with SAP/WCS via a hand held RF (Radio Frequency device) or PDA(Personal Digital Assistant)Use simple hand tools to perform job duties.Complete all required paperwork.

You have:

One to three years of warehouse experience preferred.Flexibility with work schedule and task changes. Be prepared to work overtime on Saturday and Sunday as needed.Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb stairs and work at heights from floor to 30 feet high.Ability to frequently lift and shift boxes weighing up to 50lbs with a maximum of 65lbs throughout a full shift of work.Perform physical activities that require use of arms, hands and legs. Moving of whole body to lift, reach, grasp, balance and stoop when handling warehouse materials for an extended period of time.Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Good interpersonal and communication skills to be able to work well with teammates.Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.Careful attention to detail

Abilities:

Stand, sit, walk, climb stairs and work at heights from floor to 30 feet high.Lift and shift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.Exercise proper utilization of team lifting for heavier items.Manual dexterity for operating equipment/machinery.Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision.Demonstrate clear and effective verbal and written communication techniques.

Hours/Compensation/Benefits:

·         Hours: Monday-Friday (8- hour shift)

·         Compensation: $16.56/hr.

Pay Range:

Starting Hourly Rate: $16.56

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
