Warehouse Specialist - Materials Management - FT - 1st Shift

A Warehouse Specialist is and entry level position responsible for performing a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products under direct supervision of team leads and supervisors.  This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. or any other warehouse related assignments.


Education/Licensure/Certifications

High School Diploma/certificate of completion or GED required.  Some college preferred.

 

Experience

Previous experience in supply chain operations preferred.  Health care experience preferred.

 

Additional Skills/Abilities

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and the ability to use effective interpersonal and teamwork skills when working with a variety if people and situations. Must be able to prioritize assignments independently and participate in everyday problem solving. Must have quality orientation and be attentive to detail.

Material handling equipment experience preferred Good written communication skills 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
