The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, professional demeanor, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. This position is Monday - Friday. Essential Functions + Provide outstanding customer service to customers in a positive and professional manner. + Pick and verify orders for customers and inter-office transfers. Prepare orders for shipment as needed. + Pack orders neatly and efficiently for shipping. + Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise. + Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately. + Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times. + Assist management with inventory counts and provide daily upkeep of the Warehouse. + Maintain a clean and presentable workplace; conducts basic maintenance and cleaning of warehouse, equipment, restrooms, break room, and outside grounds. + Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Skills & Abilities + Strong organization and time management skills and able to work under pressure. + Proven ability to maintain efficient warehouse / inventory and shipping processes. + Develops and maintains department processes and procedures. + Superior teamwork skills. + Knowledgeable in the use and management of warehouse inventory system and email. + Effective communication skills. + Exhibits an awareness and concern for safety. + Ability to operate forklift. Experience and/or Education: + Certified in forklift operation + Previous warehouse experience preferred Physical Requirements + Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs without assistance. + Regular physical activity, including standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing stairs. + Frequent reaching overhead and below the waist. + Comfortable standing on concrete or metal surfaces for long periods. Additional Requirements + Clean driving record acceptable to the company-s insurance provider. + Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. + Pass a criminal background check.
