Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing receiving of products, raw material, chemicals, non-stock goods and service purchases. Executes and distributes outbound deliveries for pick/pack/ship process. As required, assists with administering requirements for export shipping. S/he must ensure work is done accurately and efficiently to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. S/he will assure adherence to maintaining inventory accuracy and proper segregation of non-conforming goods.
The Factory Warehouse Manager relies on this individual to ensure an efficient and accurate operation. S/he will maintain compliance with OSHA standards, ensure required material handling equipment documentation is up to date, and the equipment is mechanically safe to operate. Additionally, s/he will conduct associate safety training, be a trainer for skills necessary for sub-ordinates to perform their job assignments and communicate expectations to associates in the workplace.
1. Responsible for managing and creating work instructions for warehouse staff for all outbound deliveries to distribution centers. Analyzes purchase order volume by business unit to maximize efficiency and cost, including determining product stockability, trailer space utilization, and inventory prioritization.
2. Ensures that staff is accurately selecting products in accordance with customer order specifications.
3. Provide guidance in pick/pack and shipping of orders for cost effectiveness.
4. Verify accuracy of orders shipped, including contents of bill of lading.
5. Schedule freight carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
6. Oversee Sterilization shipping order process to one or more third-party sterilization facilities.

7. Oversee and participates in the receiving of products, raw materials, chemicals, non-stock goods and service purchases. Reviews results for accuracy and comparable Unit of Measure between incoming and outgoing operating systems.
8. Track/Trend/Implement improvements based on data analysis reporting from SAP dashboard. Includes inventory turns, expired goods, inbound and outbound statistics.
9. Assist Manager with developing KPIs and Metrics for Warehouse based on SAP and MHCS implementation and changes to process.
10. Ensure that staff is maintaining inventory integrity through accurate picking of correct quantities and product. Oversee the investigation and resolution of inventory quantity issues including:
a. Cycle Counts
b. Inventory adjustments
c. Material/Product Transfers
d. Warehouse Requests
11. Responsible for ensuring warehouse is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
12. Schedule preventive maintenance and breakdown service for all warehouse equipment.
13. Participate in Facility Project Improvement teams and assist in Lean / 5S, Shingo on behalf of the job unit to provide ideas, methods or processes for performance improvement and perform regular audits to confirm compliance. Works proactively with Operational Excellence leader to define and prioritize actions.
14. Associate is responsible to follow requirements of TMC Quality System; including but not limited to requirements for identification and traceability of product and segregation of non-conforming product.
15. Establish and promote a work environment amongst co-workers and direct reports that supports compliance with the TMC Quality System and Terumos policies
16. Oversee training of new hires in day to day responsibilities, and safety precautions.
17. Facilitate training in the use of Powered Industrial Lift Equipment including 3-year refreshers, and repeat training for accident or near miss occurrences.
18. Assign duties to staff to ensure work is completed per warehouse managers instruction.
19. Assist Warehouse Manager with associate wage progressions, time recording, associate counseling reports, accident/incident investigation and associate training and skill development.
20. Assists Warehouse Manager with budget tracking and capital investment proposals.
21. Filing and tracking of Carrier Claims.
22. Accomplish warehouse objectives by selecting top talent in key warehouse positions.
23. Effectively communicates job expectations and expectations to adhere to Company policies and procedures.
24. Submit change orders as required for procedure and/or changes/deletions of controlled documents.
25. Oversee the operation of the Company truck. Includes training of associates, maintaining current DOT Physicals for operators, and maintaining vehicle checklist and truck mileage log.

Qualifications/ Background Experiences Associates degree required and 8 years of experience in an automated warehousing/ distribution environment or equivalent education and work experience, regulated industry strongly preferred Must have a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience or combination of internal Lead experience coupled with accredited manager development training Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred
