Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity. **_What Operations Management contributes to Cardinal Health_** Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Operations Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Operations function. **_Responsibilities_** + Team Supervision: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 12–15 Senior Associates, ensuring high performance and accountability in daily operations. + Inventory Management: Oversee and manage monthly cycle count requirements to maintain inventory accuracy and compliance. + Quality Control: Enforce and monitor quality procedures across all operations, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory standards. + Data Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on daily, weekly, and monthly trends related to inventory accuracy and quality performance. + Process Improvement: Monitor daily reports to ensure workflow procedures are current, effective, and aligned with operational goals. + Project Management: Lead and complete various quality projects on a monthly basis to support continuous improvement efforts. + Disposal Management: Oversee the proper disposal of expired or damaged inventory in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. **_Skills:_** + Strong leadership and team management abilities. + Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SAP systems, WMS). + Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and process improvement. **_Qualifications_** + 4-8 years of experience preferred + BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred + Experience with Lean Management preferred + Experience in Change Management preferred **_What is expected of you and others at this level_** + Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations or business staff + Administers and exercises policies and procedures + Ensures employees operate within guidelines + Decisions have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers + Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels + Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution _Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply._ _Cardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
