The Warehouse Supervisor in Franklin WI will be a key stakeholder for a new 340,000 square foot conversion facility and will play an integral part of Saputo’s strategy to optimize its cheese network in North America. Saputo has a strong history in Wisconsin and are proud to be expanding our footprint in this area.
The Warehouse Supervisor directly supervises and coordinates all activities in the warehouse department to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas. This includes planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing product and employee complaints, and resolving problems. This person carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies, OSHA regulations and applicable laws while applying continuous improvement methods.

Supervises all phases warehouse operations and activities to including warehouse schedules, product put-away operations and inventory warehouse management. Maintains inventory and product loss control, coordinates timely and accurate receiving, and ensures safety/operational guidelines are met. Ensures proper procedures are in place and being followed for production put away efficiency, quality of product, employee safety, and state and federal guidelines. Works with plant management and other supervisory staff to assign, direct, review and monitor work of supervised staff to maximize productivity warehouse and shipping department. Ensures proper procedures are in place and being followed for efficient warehouse activities, employee safety, and state and federal guidelines. Establishes and monitors employees’ work schedules to meet needs of business. Support and lead Warehouse Coordinator activities and oversee SAP transactions to ensure transaction integrity. Support inventory activities to include identifying, investigating, and resolving inventory discrepancies resulting from the use of exception codes. Recommends improvements to reduce cost and drive productivity within the department while achieving the targeted Sales to Service Goals. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. Maintains time and shipping records as required. Prepares reports for management review. Ensures the warehouse work areas are clean and always organized. Supervises and coordinates product rework activities. Collaborates with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. Provides supervision of assigned employees in scheduling and daily activities, ensuring effective selection, retention, feedback, disciplinary action, and performance management. If a collective bargaining agreement exists, may participate in grievances, investigations or other contract related activities and discussions. Provides effective employee training and instruction. Complete training documentation and progress. Oversees instruction, implementation, and enforcement of policies as they relate to employees. A minimum of 2 years plant experience in a warehouse setting. An Associate’s degree of Bachelor’s degree is preferred.Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices. Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures. Ability to follow all Sanitation and Quality Policies and Procedures, and report and follow through on any deficiencies. Lift truck certification or the ability to obtain a lift truck certification (Powered Industrial Trucks). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications, SAP a plus. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Skill in organization and prioritization, and attention to detail. Salary Range: $70,050 - $91,950
Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
