\nThe Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for staging the warehouse floor, managing inventory counts, forecasting, receiving of goods and planning shipments.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the implementation of warehouse procedures and processes. Responsible for the supervision of receiving, shipping, and warehouse employees. Responsible for ensuring that all employees are adhering to all safety protocols and wearing appropriate approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsible for ensuring that all housekeeping requirements are being implemented and practiced. Responsible for the coordination and facilitation of receiving and shipping of finished goods, raw material, and other miscellaneous items. Responsible for the accurate and safe placement of incoming trucks. Accurate forecasting of shipping and warehouse activities. Responsible for the completion of inventory counts, weekly zone audits and timely reaction to issues. Responsible for ensuring that assigned employees have been properly trained and aware of their role and responsibilities. Responsible for effective communication with production, maintenance, and scheduling for the purpose of effective receiving and shipping coordination. Attend monthly safety meetings. Other duties as assigned. \n High School diploma or equivalent required College degree preferred. 5-10+ years operations/warehouse supervision within a manufacturing environment. Experience with lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement. Experience with warehouse management systems. Computer and math skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook, SAP Excellent communication skills A good self-starter Strong organizational and time management skills Detail oriented \nBenefits
