Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Fulfillment Supervisor to manage and oversee warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. The Warehouse Fulfillment Supervisor's responsibilities include supervising the daily operations of the order fulfillment team. In addition, distribute and monitor workload, and motivate the team to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped in accordance with daily fulfillment guidelines. Experience in e-commerce business is helpful.  

To be successful as a Warehouse Fulfillment Supervisor you should be experienced in optimizing warehousing processes and be an effective team leader. An outstanding Warehouse Fulfillment Supervisor should be dependable and have excellent organizational and time management skills. There is growth potential in the Supply Chain Network.  

Responsibilities:

Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas including filling and shipping of customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements (technical service, vendors, etc.), ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities. 

Develop and maintain an efficient and motivated warehouse work force.  Organize workload throughout the department to maximize efficiency and meet company goals.   Monitor individual and team productivity and drive continuous productivity improvement through process enhancements and one on one coaching.  Knowledge in Safety and 5S is critical.   Clear understanding of HR policies and disciplinary action.   Maintains clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in accordance with department standards.   Research and resolve pick and ship reported errors, and initiate efforts to prevent reoccurrence by addressing the root cause.   Record and monitor staff attendance, approve PTO, and perform annual performance evaluations.   Must be a team player, positive attitude, and work with a sense of urgency.   Meet warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances.   Interview, hire and train all new team members.  Open or close the warehouse at the beginning and end of assigned shifts, or outside normal working hours, as required. 

Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED required.  Degree in business, management, logistics or a related field preferred.  This is a highly promotable position.   Bilingual (Spanish / English) - preferred  Previous experience as a warehouse lead or supervisor Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.  Proficient with WMS  Forklift Certified (Sit-down, Order Picker, Reach Truck)  Time management skills and the ability to delegate.  Excellent leadership and organizational skills.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.  Problem-solving skills.  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.  Must work some weekends & holiday.   May be required to work overtime.
