Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of delivery drivers and warehouse workers in a warehouse distribution center that includes ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts.

Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position on 2nd shift working 1:00pm to 11:00pm, Monday-Friday. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as scheduled is required. 

Responsibilities

Responsible for the direction, coordination and evaluation of all warehouse / distribution activities for assigned warehouse workers / loaders and drivers / routes.Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies procedures with regard to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and distribution.Supervise a team of delivery drivers, warehouse workers, and loaders.Ensure accurate deliveries and excellent customer service.Train and evaluate warehouse staff on effective inventory techniques and daily tasks.Supervise the planning and scheduling of company transport vehicles to maximize revenue producing opportunities and minimize downtime and excessive overtime.Monitor the team to ensure vehicles and other equipment are well maintained and that related repairs and safety issues are addressed in a timely manner.Ensure that optimal inventory levels of full goods are maintained in order to fulfill daily sales needs.Conduct physical counts of inventory and reconcile floor counts and inventory shipments.Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures of the Company and standards established by OSHA, FDA, and DOT. Total Rewards Compensation: This is an exempt, salaried position paid on a biweekly cycle. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferredKnowledge of lean manufacturing / six sigma techniques 3 years of experience in Warehouse Management, Inventory and Delivery, Operations experience in a warehouse environment3 years of experience in a strong leadership role, presenting to regional leadership teams, local leadership teams, and supervising front line employees3 years of experience of inventory and financial cost management systems: SAP or similar system capability.3 years of experience working with MHE, (material handling equipment) understand warehouse capacity requirements, building, loading, and delivery principals, FIFO and logistic principals3 years experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point Company Overview
