Ferguson is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team!
Position DetailsReports to Branch ManagerDirect oversight of 1 to 3 associatesResponsibilitiesMaintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring, training and providing professional development for all of its associatesSupervise and coordinate unloading and stocking of inbound shipments and the picking and shipping of outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperworkEnsure warehouse space is used effectively and kept clean and orderlyEnsure integrity of inventory and confirm that cycle counts are completedMaintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to branch managementMove Flat Bed and Box Trucks when needed.May be responsible for providing driver duties and responsibilities QualificationsA strong background in Warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is requiredMust be at least 21 years of age. Valid state issued license is required. Valid Class A CDL preferred, but not required.Possession of a DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card. Material Handling Equipment CertificationProficiency in OSHA and DOT regulationsExcellent judgment and decision-making abilitiesGreat communication skills and the ability and desire to lead a teamAt Ferguson, we care for each other. Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
