Production Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to ensure warehouse operation. Each day, you will overseeing a team of material handlers. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the team to meet metrics, navigate growth and filling in needs that arise along the way!The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-onsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in Mebane, NC.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tCoding and preparing proper receipt/dispatch paperwork.•\tEnsuring maintenance of equipment and facilities and identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.•\tOptimizing warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor utilization and supervising and assisting in daily warehouse and shipping operations.•\tRecommending measures to improve service quality, increase departmental efficiency, and boost the performance of work crews and equipment; and ensuring stock accuracy by conducting periodic stock takes and/or cycle counting.Our team dynamics You will join a experienced team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

Associate’s degree with 5 years of related work experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of related work experience.Demonstrated experience working with SAP or similar ERP system.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Proficient in English.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
