Located on the tropical Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory, GEMCO is an open-cut mine that is accountable for over 20% of the world’s manganese ore production. Groote Eylandt is home to the Anindilyakwa people, who are the traditional owners of the land and have been working alongside GEMCO since 1963.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a permanent position on a 7:7 roster, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns.
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising warehouse operations, ensuring safe and efficient execution of tasks, while leading a high-performing team.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
Oversee daily warehouse activities to ensure safety and compliance. Lead and coach a team to meet performance, quality and time targets. Manage inventory security, storage, and logistical support. Investigate and resolve issues related to missing or damaged materials.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Proven experience in a supervisory role within warehouse operations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team. Proficiency in SAP and warehouse management systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
Qualifications for this position are:
Hold relevant licences required for warehouse operations – Forklift, Dogging, HR, Manual driver’s licence and Working at Heights. Formal Warehouse, Logistics or Leadership qualification (desirable). Load Restraint, Dangerous Goods Handling and Chain of Responsibility training.
