No two days on our HMPPS contract are the same! As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play an integral role in the prisoners' lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n\nTo assist the Workshop Manager in overall day to day management responsibility for all aspects of the retail service for a group of prisons within an allocated Workshop. The position will manage the stock put away and pick operations, supervising a team of Workshop Assistants and prisoners in picking locations to ensure the safe, efficient and accurate distribution of orders to prisoners.\nAssisting the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day running of the warehouse operation (based on-site at the prison)\nLine management of the Warehouse Team Leaders and overall supervision of the prisoners whilst they are at work\nTo comply with all HMP processes with regards to the management and recording of prisoner activity.\nTo ensure Health & Safety compliance.\nTo ensure that all KPI's and production requirements are achieved and exceeded.\nAttend local Prison meetings as required - Health & Safety, Industry Meetings etc.\nEnsure Prisoner time/wage information is completed on a daily / weekly basis & much more!\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nCurrent three years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance)\nThe ability to work in a prison environment, alongside inmates\nPrevious experience leading, managing or supervising a team\nIT literate to enable accurate and timely reporting\nHave a can-do attitude, right first time and passionate approach\nEnhanced security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this role\nFull & valid Driving License required with access to private vehicle\n\n
