Warehouse Supervisor
**Description** John Tillman Company, a division of Bunzl, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our facility in Fairfield. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for leading and controlling activities of the warehouse and shipping team, ensuring duties such as receiving, put-aways and replenishment functions are performed in a timely manner. Other tasks include bin counts and location accuracy, monitoring shipping operations to our customers, working with carriers to coordinate pickups as needed and managing work processes and environmental conditions to ensure the safety of all employees. We seek to recruit and retain the right people who are passionate about our business and we provide opportunities for our employees so that they may progress within our company based on their talents, experiences, and their aptitude. **_Responsibilities:_** + Ability to supervise a crew working multiple functions in multiple areas of the warehouse, such as put-aways, replenishments, bin counts, quality control and kitting while ensuring accuracy of the locations + Supervise shipping team while managing customer orders for timely shipping and completion + Communicate with all levels of management, as well as our customers via email or phone in a clear and professional manner + Direct the necessary daily activities to ensure a safe working environment for all employees + Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies are communicated, applied and enforced + Communicate with the Customer Service department on any delays in production + Conduct daily meetings with team along with safety meetings **_Requirements:_** + High school diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred + 4-6 years’ experience working in production, warehouse departments; previous supervisory experience + Experience in Excel + Ability to properly fill out shipping documents is required + Ability to work well with others + Familiar with warehouse management systems + Good verbal and written communication skills + Exercise good judgment and react quickly in emergency situations + Detail-oriented + Supervise staff and delegate tasks + Must be able to work 8 hours to 12 hours a day, standing on a concrete surface + Able to lift 40-50 lbs. **So, what are you waiting for?
