Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations while maintaining strict controls over process and procedure - Oversee all staffing issues-attendance, vacation, daily assignment, etc
Work with other supervisor/salary staff to improve operations
Develop strong working relationship with UAW counterparts
Promote a safe working environment for all maintains a zero incident mindset
Proactively address all safety concerns in an expedient manner
Work with salary and hourly teams to improve safety culture and adherence to safety guidelines
Perform basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents
Maintain Quality Procedures to ensure the facility is functioning at highest levels
Develop and implement projects to improve quality and efficiency of operations
Skills Required:
Effective decision making
Ability to manage multiple systems daily
Excellent written and verbal skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to demand accountability from all employees.
Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years warehouse environment/operations
Experience Preferred:
Supervised in an union environment
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
-SAP knowledge
-Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)
