The Warehouse Systems Manager manages work associated with the development of new systems and the maintenance of current systems pertaining to distribution operations.
\nEssential Duties:
\n\nDevelops training, procedures, and tools to promote proper and effective usage of distribution systems. \n\n\nCreates operational system designs to promote efficiency. \n\n\nEnsures that standard distribution processes meet customer requirements. \n\n\nDirects implementation and software (UI) testing; Manages post implementation operations of software and warehouse standard procedures. \n\n\nServes as the internal thought leader in warehouse and supply chain technology \n\n\nLeads continuous improvement for warehouse process management \n\n\nCollaborates with information technology department to document effective distribution systems. \n\n\nActs as a liaison between the operations and information technology teams within an organization. \n\n\nProvides technical support to end-users. Composes reports regarding operational performance. \n\n\nContinuously researches vendors in search of possible upgrades. \n\n\nOther duties as assigned \n\n\n
Qualifications:
\n\nBachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred \n\n\n6+ years’ experience \n\n\nComprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles. \n\n\nStrategic thinking skills.\nMust be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays. \n\n\n\n\nCorporate Summary:
