Job description :

The position of Warehouse Team Leader is a key role in the management of logistics operations. Here are some of the responsibilities and skills generally associated with this position:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for supplying assembly cells with parts to ensure smooth operations (deadlines, quantities & the right part at the right station); Manage production scrap and warehousing (waste, recycling, metal and wood); Ensure preventive maintenance of inter-plant feeder carts; Maintain and update warehouse merchandise location as required; Perform shipping and receiving functions; In collaboration with the warehouse clerk, handle goods using a forklift; Verify merchandise and quantities received according to delivery slip; Receive merchandise into the system; Maintain and manage physical inventory; Participate in cyclical counts; Prepare and ship parts for after-sales service (next-day shipments); Follow-up with purchasing department for warranty returns; Supervise and mentor warehouse clerks and ensure compliance with safe working practices.

Skills and qualifications :

DES or other relevant degree Knowledge of custom papers Bilingual French/English Knowledge of inventory movement Experience in a similar position Minimum 3 years' experience in forklift driving Knowledge of ERP and inventory systems Good physical capacity (lift loads of 35-50 lbs) Demonstrate initiative, thoroughness and attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Apply
