Summary/Objective: The Team Leader will be responsible for the team maintaining an accurate inventory and supporting all production teams in a timely manner to eliminate downtime in the production teams. Responsibilities and Essential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Receiving materials in a timely accurate manner. Ensure all inventory is put away in racks and properly located by end of each workday. Maintain accurate inventory transactions as materials are being pulled. Ensure that required cycle counts are completed daily and help in the investigation of any variances. May be responsible in learning to schedule loads and trucks for shipments as back up. Responsible for maintaining clean work area. Responsible for maintaining clean pack-out areas in the manufacturing cells. May be responsible in learning UPS for shipments as a back up. Schedule overtime as required to meet customer needs. Initiate and Support improvement projects from engineering groups and Correction Action Program. Follow and enforce Companies policies consistently. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. LCI issued Forklift Operators License. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time salary position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager. Travel: List the amount of travel time, if any, this role would be required to commit to. Preferred Education and Experience: Language: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and convert in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of inventory and manufacturing software; AX and understand the Mobile Device and scanner.
