What You'll Do Warehouse Technicians are required to get on and off the lift truck numerous times while loading flatbed trailers (outside). Flatbed trailers are loaded outside in all weather conditions. Warehouse Technicians must be able to safely enter a harness and complete the belly strapping to secure guard poles for the load. This occurs 3 or 4 times per flatbed. Vans and containers are loaded from dock doors and require Warehouse Technician to sit on lift truck approximately 3 hours per load. We average 4 loads per day. Warehouse Technicians are responsible for loading both flatbed trucks (outside) and vans/containers (at the dock door). Overtime is required during peak season – up to 20 hours per week – sometime double-shifts in a single day. Will maneuver and lift single rolls onto pallets (weighing between 75 and 150 pounds).• Will maneuver and lift single rolls onto pallets (weighing between 75 and 150 pounds). Lift boxes of struts (80 pounds) and connectors (30 pounds) onto pallets to prepare for shipment. What You'll Need Must have warehouse experience and be a proficient lift truck operator. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Must be able to maneuver up to 200 lbs Must be able to calculate load capacities High school diploma Your Education
