**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** As a Warehouse Technician, you are expected to work and communicate with your team, as well as assist in any responsibilities pertaining to the Distribution Center functions. Responsibilities could include accurately storing inventory, properly pulling inventory according to work order, boxing, packaging orders and shipping orders, preparing truck manifests, and the transportation of material from manufacturing to distribution. You will be required to operate a variety of lift/packaging equipment including forklift, bobtail, and order picking equipment to heights of 20 feet, as well as spooling, and boxing equipment. Team members will also be expected to assist in a variety of warehouse functions and take initiative to help out wherever you identify an area in need. All team members shall be detail-oriented with the ability to continuously refer to alpha-numeric part numbers. **Responsibilities** + Accurately store inventory + Properly pull inventory according to work order + Box, package, and ship orders + Prepare truck manifests + Transport material from manufacturing to distribution + Operate a variety of lift/packaging equipment including forklift, bobtail, and order picking equipment to heights of 20 feet + Assist in various warehouse functions + Refer to alpha-numeric part numbers continuously **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of experience utilizing some type of ERP system in a warehouse setting (SAP preferred) + 2+ years of experience utilizing RF scanning equipment + 2+ years of experience driving material handling equipment: order picker, standup and sit-down forklift + Must have and maintain a valid California Driver’s license + Proficiency in Microsoft Office + Experience in material handling **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Occasional data entry to process shipments and track inventory + Basic math skills to record and track department metrics + Ability to store products in appropriate areas (racks/shelves) + Use of RF scanner to store and track inventory + Ability to pick materials utilizing order picker for heights up to 20 feet above grade + Packing materials and boxes (10 – 110 lb.) with pneumatic hoist and lift tables + Processing shipments in ERP system + Ability to handle spooling of materials (10-110 lb.) using pneumatic hoist + Staging of finished shipments by forklift, hand-stack, and/or use of pneumatic hoist onto pallets + Clear verbal and written communication skills **Why Work Here?** We invest in our people and help them grow within the company. The facility is not insulated, which means it is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. You will mostly be working independently. The day shift runs from 6 am to 3 pm, and you must have flexible availability. Overtime is required four times a year at the end of each quarter but is always available. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union City, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
