Warehouse Technician
Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description

As a Warehouse Technician, you are expected to work and communicate with your team, as well as assist in any responsibilities pertaining to the Distribution Center functions. Responsibilities could include accurately storing inventory, properly pulling inventory according to work order, boxing, packaging orders and shipping orders, preparing truck manifests, and the transportation of material from manufacturing to distribution. You will be required to operate a variety of lift/packaging equipment including forklift, bobtail, and order picking equipment to heights of 20 feet, as well as spooling, and boxing equipment. Team members will also be expected to assist in a variety of warehouse functions and take initiative to help out wherever you identify an area in need. All team members shall be detail-oriented with the ability to continuously refer to alpha-numeric part numbers.

Work Environment

You will be working in a large distribution center and will be required to wear goggles and earplugs on the manufacturing floor. The facility is not insulated, which means it is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. You will mostly be working independently. The day shift runs from 6 am to 3 pm, and you must have flexible availability. Overtime is required four times a year at the end of each quarter but is always available.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union City, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
