Company/Location Overview

We are in search of talented individuals who have a strong desire to develop and hone technically sound manufacturing processes while seizing the opportunity to own their career and personal development. The work schedule for this role is 8 hour shifts, 5 days a week with 1st or 2nd shift roles available. 

The Sazerac Company, established in 1850, is a leading North American spirits supplier, and owner of many of the industry’s most venerable distilling companies – Buffalo Trace Distillery, Barton 1792 Distillery, The Glenmore Distillery, and A. Smith Bowman Distillery.  In 2014, Sazerac was awarded one of the spirits industry’s highest honors – Distiller of the Year by the International Wine & Spirits Competition.

Job Description/Responsibilities

The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for:

Order picking and truck loading process.Warehouse inventory-robot operation and forklift operation.Confirming counts from production to warehouse.Quality control of all outgoing product and setting up orders of incoming stock.Safety and cleanliness of work area.Care and maintenance of property assigned to his/her use and works together with staff to support the goals of Company. Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization.Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.Ability to operate industrial equipment as required.Ability to pick up and/ or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.Good vision and manual dexterity.High School diploma or GED equivalent.Strong interpersonal skills.Two years of relevant experience (minimum).

Preferred Qualifications:

At least one year of continuous experience in every previous job.Two years previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment.

 

This role works on an AWS (2,2,3) day shift schedule from 7am-7pm
