**Job ID Number** R5483 **Employment Type** Full time **Worksite Flexibility** Onsite **Job Summary** As a Warehouse Worker, you will work within receiving, shipping and order pulling for the 1st Shift. **Job Description** We are looking for a **Warehouse Worker** **.** This position will be **full-time** and **onsite in Katy, Texas. The position is 40 hours per week, with 10 hour shifts 4 days a week operating from 6:30am-10pm.** This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee. **What** **You’ll** **Do** + Determine the resources necessary to ensure an uninterrupted supply to support production and sales + Ensure that materials are cost-effective + Assist in determining and ensuring the quality of materials + Monitor inventory levels and coordinates with purchasing to maintain adequate levels of parts and raw materials to manufacture the product + Work to resolve materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics + Find new suppliers when needed; monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value + Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity + Create and maintain bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems + Develop specifications for new contract orders + May provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and participate in higher level supplier performance review with strategic sourcing **What You'll Need** Required + High School Diploma or GED + At least 1 year of warehouse experience in receiving, shipping and pulling orders is required + Steel Toed Boots are required **Physical Demands** + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards + Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. + Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor + Maneuver packages / material of any weight with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person + Push, pull squat, bend and reach + Lift a minimum of 50 pounds The pay range for this position is $22.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
