**Job ID Number** R5483 **Employment Type** Full time **Worksite Flexibility** Onsite **Job Summary** As a Warehouse Worker, you will work within receiving, shipping and order pulling for the 1st Shift. **Job Description** We are looking for a **Warehouse Worker** **.** This position will be **full-time** and **onsite in Katy, Texas. The position is 40 hours per week, with 10 hour shifts 4 days a week operating from 6:30am-10pm.** This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee. **What** **You’ll** **Do** + Determine the resources necessary to ensure an uninterrupted supply to support production and sales + Ensure that materials are cost-effective + Assist in determining and ensuring the quality of materials + Monitor inventory levels and coordinates with purchasing to maintain adequate levels of parts and raw materials to manufacture the product + Work to resolve materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics + Find new suppliers when needed; monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value + Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity + Create and maintain bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems + Develop specifications for new contract orders + May provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and participate in higher level supplier performance review with strategic sourcing **What You'll Need** Required + High School Diploma or GED + At least 1 year of warehouse experience in receiving, shipping and pulling orders is required + Steel Toed Boots are required **Physical Demands** + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards + Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. + Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor + Maneuver packages / material of any weight with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person + Push, pull squat, bend and reach + Lift a minimum of 50 pounds The pay range for this position is $22.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include medical coverage as well as 401k retirement account access.
