**Job Title: Warehouse Specialist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Specialist to handle specialized warehouse tasks such as loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, and fabrication. The role may involve working across various departments and responsibilities include loading products onto trucks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication, and transportation of goods.
+ Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles.
+ Stack or pile materials, such as lumber, boards, or pallets.
+ Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
+ Verify computations against physical count of stock.
+ Maintain the condition of work area (e.g., free of trash, product in correct location).
+ Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same.
+ Receive and fill orders or sell supplies, materials, and products to installers and subcontractors.
+ May drive a truck to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations or operate forklifts or other machinery to complete tasks.
+ Perform routine inspection of vehicle and supplies to ensure road safety.
+ Deliver merchandise to customers and contact customers if they are not present.
+ Follow all State and Federal Laws when operating Company Vehicles.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ HS Diploma or GED required
+ 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility
+ Valid Driver's license - will eventually be driving to deliver some product once converted
+ Knowledge of machines and tools
+ Proper licensing relative to equipment
+ Must be able to pass a DOT physical
+ Must be able to obtain TWIC Certifications
+ Forklift experience
+ Delivery experience
+ Inventory experience

**Work Environment**
Typically, the work environment is comfortable but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes, which may cause noticeable discomfort or moderate risk of accident or illness. The role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand for periods exceeding 60 minutes. It also involves making repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting. There are intermittent periods requiring continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corpus Christi, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00
