**Job Title: Warehouse Worker**
**Job Description**
Responsible for specialized warehouse tasks in loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, fabrication, counter duties, or a generalized role working in all departments. Load products onto trucks and ensure they are properly secured for transport.
**Responsibilities**
+ Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication, and transportation of goods.
+ Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles.
+ Stack or pile materials such as lumber, boards, or pallets.
+ Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
+ Verify computations against physical count of stock.
+ Maintain the condition of the work area (i.e., free of trash, product in the correct location, etc.). Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same.
+ Receive and fill orders or sell supplies, materials, and products to installers and subcontractors.
+ Drive a truck to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations, or operate a forklift or other machinery to complete tasks.
+ Perform routine inspection of vehicle and supplies to ensure road safety.
+ Deliver merchandise to customers and contact customers if they are not present.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
+ Follow all State and Federal laws when operating company vehicles.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Must have forklift experience
+ Reliable and good attitude
+ Able to work in non-climate controlled environment
+ HS Diploma or GED required
+ 0-2 years of experience in the area of responsibility
+ Valid driver's license (will eventually be driving to deliver some product once converted)
+ Knowledge of machines and tools
+ Proper licensing relative to equipment
+ Must be able to pass a DOT physical
+ Must be able to obtain TWIC certification

**Work Environment**
Typically, in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes, which may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Ability to make repetitive movements including, but not limited to, using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting. Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corpus Christi, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00
