Job Description
The main function of a warehouse worker is to receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. This role involves various tasks including order pulling, packing, labeling, and operating equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant work history.
ResponsibilitiesUse carts to pull orders and prepare them for shipping.Work with printing labels, counting, and scanning items.Match slips to items received and put away in warehouse locations/stock.Transfer items from one facility to another, checking quantities.Pack items into Gaylord boxes, unpack items onto shelves.Operate forklifts, primarily cherry pickers, but also sit-down and stand-up forklifts. Training provided if no prior experience.Capable of adjusting shelves as needed.Use paper pick tickets to match part numbers and quantities.Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.Receive and count stock items, record data manually, verify inventory computations, and investigate discrepancies.Store items in an orderly and accessible manner, mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, or other labeling equipment.Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, report any damage to supervisors.Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.Essential SkillsVerbal and written communication skillsAttention to detailAbility to count and perform basic mathForklift operation (training provided if no prior experience)Maximum lifting/carrying of 50 pounds unassistedFrequent lifting/carrying of 20 poundsContinuous standing and walking on concrete or metal grated floors for entire shiftAbility to work in a 60,000 sqft warehouse that is not climate-controlled (hot in summer, cold in winter)Must not be afraid of heights due to upper-level work in the warehouseAbility to work at a fast pace accuratelyAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with packing, inventory, picking, production, packaging, material handling, unloading, and pallet jack operation.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a 60,000 sqft warehouse that is not climate-controlled, which can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The role requires continuous standing and walking on concrete or metal grated floors for the entire shift, and the ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds unassisted. Safety training is provided for operating forklifts, and adherence to safety regulations is mandatory.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.44 - $17.44/hr.
