**Job ID Number** R4724 **Employment Type** Full time **Worksite Flexibility** Onsite **Job Summary** As the Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for warehousing activities including the receipt of materials, supplies, freight; and the shipment of finished products. **Job Description** We are looking for a 2nd shift **Warehouse Associate** to be responsible for warehousing activities including the receipt of materials, supplies, freight; and the shipment of finished products. This position will be **full-time** and **on-site.** **What You'll Do** + Responsible for warehousing activities including the receipt of materials, supplies, freight; and the shipment of finished products, according to company policies and procedures + Ensures materials are received, unloaded and inspected securely and safely from delivery vehicles, compares items and quantities received against freight bills, vendor invoices, bills of lading, customer orders, manifests, or other records, documenting discrepancies; and that materials are delivered to inventory for storage + Maintains records of damaged or defective items; records time, date, quantity, source, and destination of materials, including updating the purchase order system for receipts/shipments that are received, cancelled, or back-ordered + Gathers, verifies, scans, labels, packs/wraps, loads items and ensures shipment in a timely manner according to specifications and the applicable transportation method + Ensures the orderly stocking and timely delivery of merchandise and the security and accountability of inventory, enabling materials to be available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per marketing schedules + Participates in cycle counting and material handling activities for the plant to ensure inventory accuracy and maintenance, including completing row audits and investigating variances + Performs regular preventative maintenance to operating equipment as per instructions + -Evaluates the efficiency of existing shipping/receiving operational methods, processes, and procedures, recommends improvements when necessary and updates management on all inventory issues on a regular and as-needed basis **What You'll Need** Required: + 1 year of similar warehouse experience + High School Diploma or equivalent **Physical Demands:**   + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards + Regularly required to: + Work on operating machinery + Maneuver packages / material of any weight with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. + Work from a secured ladder. + Push, pull squat, bend and reach + Lift a minimum of 50 pounds **Reasonable Accommodation Statement** If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 – 8111. **Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Statement** It is the policy of CAI not to discriminate against any employee or applicant due to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability or being a protected veteran.
