**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** The ideal candidate is team-oriented, works well with others, and places an emphasis on attention to detail and safety. This position covers a wide variety of warehouse operations, including loading and unloading trucks, shipping via UPS, and receiving. The candidate will be required to read over and sign BOLs, inspect, re-box, and re-strap pallets and returns. This is a true warehouse position and not a typical 8-hour sit or stand or forklift role. We prioritize safety, so training on the forklift may not begin for 2-4 weeks. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload trucks. + Ship via UPS and receive shipments. + Read over and sign BOLs. + Inspect, re-box, and re-strap pallets and returns. + Adjust forklift blades and move smaller items on the dock. **Essential Skills** + Forklift operation (experience welcomed but not required). + Inventory management. + Picking and packing. + RF scanner usage. + Material handling. + General labor. + Order picking. + Shipping and receiving. + Warehouse inventory management. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong attention to detail. + Good attendance record. + Ability to work well with others. + Willingness to learn and be trained on the forklift. **Why Work Here?** Join a reputable company with a small and friendly work environment. **Work Environment** The work schedule is from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with some overtime required as needed. The warehouse environment can be cool to cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. The role involves working with small parts, using an RF gun, and operating within our computer system. We are willing to train the right candidates on the forklift. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.70 - $20.70/hr.
