Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. The role involves managing container and racking systems, handling dirty containers, and overseeing the washing, sorting, staging, and scanning of plastic totes. This position requires a lot of standing, bending, and occasional use of forklifts.

ResponsibilitiesClean and manage incoming dirty containers and send them out clean.Wash, load, unload, sort, stage, and scan plastic totes using a washing machine.Work in process lanes (inbound), remove manufacturer tags from containers and racks, and use a hand-scanner to process incoming totes and racks.Repair large plastic containers using hand drills and screwdrivers.Operate a forklift, load and unload trucks, read paperwork, and ensure correct containers are being shipped.Essential SkillsWarehouse and general labor experienceForklift operation and material handlingAbility to lift 50 lbsAbility to work 10 hours of overtimeAbility to work on Saturdays6 months of recent labor or forklift experienceAbility to pass a forklift test, including driving forward and backward through cones and lifting and setting down a palletAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with hand drills and screwdriversAbility to stand for the entire shiftFlexibility to work various shifts and overtime as neededWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced work environment in a new warehouse built in 2012. The facility is kept clean with regular sweeping and maintains a temperature of 50+ degrees in the winter and warmer in the summer. The team consists of 60 employees and 4 supervisors, with 15-25 employees per shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of EAST MOLINE, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
