• Responsible for preparation and component sub-assembly, in a fast-paced production line. Prepared to work in various positions of the production line, including preparation of the component, sub-assembly, ability to operate the torque wrench, packing, and staging loads for shipping. The position may require the use of a pallet jack and other powered industrial equipment to move products within the facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Follow assembly instructions for the product, must be able to identify various componentsUnpack struts, springs, and componentsLoad components sequentially onto the carouselMaintain sub-assembly inventoryAssist with material/component stocking in the production areaRecycle cardboard and plastic waste as time permitsAssist with the preparation of additional componentsBuild boxes per diagram.Load skid to specified configuration, and move skid to shipping process area.Ensure the packaging area is stocked with required items, including pallets.Maintain production lines in an orderly manner, proper housekeeping and safety guidelines,Follow all safety guidelinesAble to identify product defectsEnsure good housekeeping and safe working conditions.All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Production, Manufacturing, or Warehouse Experience required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend a large majority of time walking, standing, and using hands to push/pull. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is required to lift and /or move up to 20 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee may be exposed to hot or cold temperatures, outside weather conditions, and the risk of electrical shock. The employee may be exposed to high, precarious places; fumes, or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
