**Warehouse Worker / Material Handler** **1st Shift $18-$22/hr** **Aurora, IL** **Overview** We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Worker & Material Handler for a manufacturing company in Aurora, IL. In this position, you will work in the warehouse, operating a sit-down forklift and stand up forklift to move large and heavy pumps around the plant. You will be responsible for pulling material for the production team, staging it by the production area, and storing finished products in the correct location. Additionally, you will track inventory using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accuracy. Loading and unloading trucks is also part of the role. **The typical schedule is 7 AM to 3:30 PM.** If interested in this position, then please apply today and an Aerotek Recruiter will reach out within 24-48 hours. **Responsibilities** + Operate a sit-down forklift to move large pumps around the plant. + Pull material for the production team and stage it by the production area. + Store finished products in the correct location. + Track inventory in the warehouse using the WMS to ensure accuracy. + Load and unload trucks as needed. + Assist in assembly, material handling, and general housekeeping tasks. + Build crates and pack crates for shipping. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years operating a stand up forklift + 2+ years operating a sit-down forklift + Experience with inventory management systems (WMS) + Experience using hand and power tools (Construction/Crate building experience ideal) + Material handling **Why Work Here?** The company is growing rapidly, with plans to add around 80 people nationwide across all departments and skill sets.
