**Position Summary:** Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team. Candidate must be able to pass an equipment test. All machines at this location are sit-down, electric Toyota counterbalance trucks.**** **Multiple Shifts:** **-First 90 days will work on afternoon shift, then will be placed on any of the shifts listed below.** -Day Shift: Monday to Friday 7AM-3:30PM -Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday 5:45PM-2:15AM -Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday 11PM-7AM **Pay:** $24.10/hr Plus Afternoon Shift Premium: $0.75 Plus Night Shift Premium: $1.00 **Major Responsibilities:** -Operating electric counterbalance trucks -Accurately stage and sort products for loading -Loads and unloads trailers -Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas -Move materials within the warehouse -Complies with all safety requirements -Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling) -Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system -Quality control -Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received -Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department -Maintains inventory records -Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor **Qualifications:** -Experience with counterbalance trucks required -Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required -Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexibile, excellent with numbers and time management skills required -Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required (where applicable by location) -Flexible to work overtime preferred -Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job -Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete a Penske employment application, submit to a reference verification (to include past employment and education) are required **Physical Requirements:** -The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
