Essential duties and responsibilities + Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise + Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area + Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording all items received or distributed through a computer. + Will also assist in counting of physical inventory + Customer Service skills + Maintains a safe and clean work environment. Must sweep, dust and mop. + Organize warehouse and work area at all times + Wear the proper safety equipment such as work boots and gloves. Requirements + Must be punctual, attendance is very important. + Attention to detail + Good communication skills. + Self motivated + Must have a flexible schedule, able to work nights. + Ability to follow instructions. + Ability to adapt quickly to a changing work environment + Must be experienced with the electric pallet jack. + Dependable and Reliable + Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required Physical demands and abilities + Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear + Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl + Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
