**Job Title: Warehouseman** **Job Description** The Warehouseman is responsible for the movement of material to and from stock locations, unloading purchased material, and performing cycle counts when required. **Responsibilities** + Ensure that correct quantity and correct material are issued. + Verify inventory counts through weekly cycle counts. + Check incoming material in the computer system and store in designated areas. + Separate non-conforming material to prevent accidental use. + Raise visibility of processes contributing to errors. + Maintain warehouse equipment (Forklifts, storage racks, PC’s, pallet jacks) per guidelines. **Essential Skills** + Forklift operation + Inventory control + Material handling + Warehouse management system + Shipping and receiving + Pallet jack operation + Cycle counting + Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Valid driver's license meeting company insurance standards + A clean driving record + Material handling certification (i.e. forklift operators certificate) + Experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment + Experience driving a Fork-Lift (stand-up and sit-down) + Experience using lifting assisting equipment (cranes and hoists) + Experience driving a box truck (preferred) + Experience with inventory management systems (preferred) **Job Details** Pay: $17-$18 Shift: M-F 7am-3:30pm Location: Based in Virginia Beach with travel to Chesapeake **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
