Who You Are
You’re a reliable and organized Warehouseman with a focus on food services, adept at managing inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. With a strong understanding of food safety standards, you excel at receiving, storing, and distributing food products while ensuring proper handling and organization. Your attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and strong teamwork skills make you a key part of the food service supply chain.
At KBR, you bring a combination of logistical expertise and food service knowledge, ensuring that food products are stocked, tracked, and delivered to meet operational needs. Known for your ability to efficiently manage warehouse tasks, collaborate with teams, and maintain a clean and safe environment, you play a vital role in supporting the overall success of the food service operation. Your commitment to service, safety, and efficiency aligns with KBR’s mission to provide dependable solutions that support mission-critical functions.
What You'll Do
In the role of Warehouseman (Food Services), your duties will include:
Receives, inspects, and properly stores incoming supplies, equipment, and materials in accordance with established procedures and inventory management systems.
Conducts regular inventory counts, performs stock checks, and updates records to ensure accurate stock levels and prevent discrepancies.
Prepares shipments, packs items securely, and arranges for their dispatch based on requisitions or orders, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to delivery schedules.
Coordinates with logistics teams to manage transportation, distribution, and tracking of materials to various locations as per mission requirements.
Assists in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse, including handling materials safely, following safety protocols, and disposing of waste appropriately.
Operates warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move materials and performs loading and unloading tasks.
Requirements:
Must be a US or Australian citizen
Must Possess an active US Secret or AUS NV-1 Clearance.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Must have an understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
Must be capable of standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy items, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
This role will be located in Alice Springs. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
