Job Description
The Warehouseman is responsible for the movement of materials to and from stock locations, unloading purchased materials, and performing cycle counts when required.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure that the correct quantity and correct material are issued.Verify inventory counts through weekly cycle counts.Check incoming material in the computer system and store it in designated areas.Separate non-conforming material to prevent accidental use.Raise visibility of processes contributing to errors.Maintain warehouse equipment (Forklifts, storage racks, PCs, pallet jacks) per guidelines.Essential SkillsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).Forklift operation.Inventory control.Material handling.Warehouse inventory management.Shipping and receiving.Cycle counting.Additional Skills & QualificationsDisplay a working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software with emphasis on computer-based ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) inventory management system: Preferred.Valid driver's license that meets insurance standards: Required.Material handling certification (i.e., forklift operator's certificate): Required.Experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment: Required.Experience with inventory: Preferred.Experience driving a Fork-Lift (stand-up and sit-down): Required.Experience using Lifting Assisting Equipment (cranes and hoists): Required.Experience driving a box truck: Preferred.Why Work Here?

Compensation
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
