Currently looking for a WAREHOUSEMAN for our PICCO District at our **CP CHEM** **PROJECT** in Orange, Texas. As a **WAREHOUSE PERSON ,** you will contribute to our team by: + Must pass DISA background check. + Must pass DISA follicle, drug and alcohol test. + Must have either Basic or Basic refresher or Safety Essential. + Must have experience running forklifts (Telehandler Forklifts) in congested area. + Work in laydown yard, filling requests to support construction. + Off-loading and loading materials in the laydown yard. + Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking items received against the packing list. + Prepares a receiving report if none is available. + Examine incoming shipments for damaged items. Appropriately report/record any discrepancies. + Attaches identifying tag or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers. + Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to projects or vendors. + Review all requisitions to determine if they were picked correctly. + Ensure laydown area cleanliness is maintained on a regular basis. + Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area. What you will bring to the role: + Be able to identify items by size, type, style, color or manufacturer. + Solid reading skills – must be able to read requisitions for materials to be shipped + Basic math skills and reasoning skills. + Forklift Certification a plus. + Ability to understand and execute instructions. + General understanding of the warehouse and footprint + Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices or computers if necessary.
