We are looking for:

The Warehouseman is responsible for all shipping and receiving of both bulk and packaged raw material and finished goods produced at the Baltimore site. Completion of all paperwork for both receiving and shipping of products. The warehouse person also supports other plant departments by suppling packaged raw material, paperwork for loading bulk shipments. Housekeeping of their assigned areas.

Understand and abide by plant Health, Safety, Security, Environmental rules, policies and procedures Support the plant’s quality management systems and its compliance with pertinent quality standards. Accountable for learning and subsequent training of learned job duties and qualified skills, according to the appropriate, documented procedures. Maintain organized warehouse operation. Offload packaged materials, properly label, and store materials in designated locations Check in-coming materials against RCS order information and reject incorrect deliveries Maintain excellent housekeeping in warehouse areas, around storage tank and dikes used for raw materials. Offload any bulk materials to designated storage tanks and return equipment to proper storage areas after use. Maintain RM storage daily readings Prepare package shipments as required by shipping documents, including palletization, banding, shrink wrapping, labeling, etc. Load box trailers with packaged goods Load T/T as required. Perform packaging of various products and raw materials. Perform drumming duties as required. Stage packaging materials for use. Stage raw materials for use in various departments Understand and utilize DOT shipping and storage requirements Transport packaged finished products to proper warehouse locations. Maintain and organize incoming and outgoing shipping documentation. Perform RCS transactions Perform light/routine equipment inspection/documentation/repair Maintenance work notifications as needed Perform accurate inventory checks Inform Production Planner of impending inventory shortages Read and understand Warehouse MOC’s, procedural changes, etc. Update department log book  Prepare appropriate work permits for maintenance and contractors.  Perform forklift safety checks as required Conduct other duties requested by management, based on safety and qualifications Move trailers around site with yard dog Fully participate and comply with plant HSE initiatives, rules, programs, and procedures. Foster discipline and accountability in execution of procedures of Life Critical procedures.  Lead this effort by example. Practice and adhere to all site and Solvay HR, safety and process safety systems, programs, rules and procedures. Complete HSE training as outlined for the department. Assure all safety inspections and audits are performed and documented. Represent Solvay through daily actions that reinforce the corporate values demonstrating personal commitment to a safe, healthy and environmentally sound workplace for employees.

Competitive salary and benefits package The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $31.80 per hour. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.
