Start your new career as a Warper with MAU at Milliken Gerrish in Pendleton, SC. As a Warper, you will work closely with the team to lease empty warps, tie in, and pull over new warps. You will also efficiently prepare and tie in replacement warps to minimize downtime while maintaining high-quality standards.

What We Offer: Pay of $16.69/hour Multiple shifts available First Shift Third Shift 12-hour Rotating Shifts (average 42 hours/week), alternating weekly between day and night shifts What We’re Looking For: Ability to read, write, and follow directions Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions Ability to apply basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Attention to detail – ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in tasks by reviewing all aspects Flexibility to adapt to changes in the work environment Proficiency in performing basic weaving tasks Capability to draw in ends accurately Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. What You’ll Do as a Warper: Thorough knowledge of warp replacement policies and procedures Perform daily team maintenance (DTM) activities Audit safety items within the department Identify weave defects and carry out basic weaving tasks, such as tying knots and drawing ends Use intermediate computer skills to locate and move batches Lease empty warps, tie-in, and pull over new warps Adhere to all general plant safety rules and absolutes Operate equipment safely and efficiently Achieve production goals established by the department manager Follow all department-specific policies, procedures, and job specifications
