Warranty Administrator/Claims Processor
+ Accurately review, process, and submit warranty claims to manufacturer in compliance with their guidelines and policies + Track the progress of warranty claims and follow up with manufacturer to resolve any outstanding issues or delays + Maintain detailed records of all warranty work, including parts, labor, and claim status, ensuring accurate documentation for audit purposes + Verify warranty coverage for customers and provide clear explanations of the terms and conditions of their warranties + Work closely with all departments to coordinate warranty repairs, ensuring a smooth and timely process for customers + Track and order warranty parts as needed, ensuring timely availability to avoid service delays + Stay current with manufacturer bulletins, warranty policies, and procedures to ensure claims are filed correctly + Assist the service, parts and new equipment sales departments with any warranty-related questions or issues + Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and manufacturer to ensure a seamless warranty process + Process freight claims for damaged shipments + Process contractor claims for damaged/non-working products + Other duties as related to warranty/claims Qualifications: + Strong Excel and other Microsoft office knowledge + Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment + Prior experience in an service or warranty administration role preferred + Strong knowledge of HVAC parts, repairs, and warranty procedures preferred + Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in processing claims and maintaining records + Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused attitude + Ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient warranty claim processing Benefits + Full time position/40 hours guaranteed each week + Paid bi-weekly/overtime as needed + Performance based incentive plan + 1 to 3 weeks of vacation per year as tenure increases + Additional PTO - 4 hours each month after 90 days’ employment + ½ Health insurance paid (employee or family) + Health insurance plan (eligibility after 90 day probationary period) includes long term disability coverage (60% of salary after 90 days) and $20,000 term life insurance paid 100% by company + 401K after 1 year with matching up to 4% of salary + 401K plan includes an optional profit-sharing contribution that has historically been funded 100% since we have had the plan
