As a Warranty and Sales Return Tech you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for coordination of warranty and sales return parts:Inputting and manipulating new claims, rebuilds and exchangesPrint part I.D. labelsApply masking to al repair unitsDetermine the origin of broken liters using an eye loopTest the electrical system using the Final Quality Inspection AidDetermine if part is repairable and do the customer DispositionGenerating paperwork including follower cards and PK lists for parts going to the floor. Scrapping parts and part removalWorking with product support to recognize and eliminate negative trendsGenerating and getting approval for parts to vendorsGenerating REQ’s for P.O’sManipulating routings for work ordersManipulating BOM’s for work ordersWill be a super-user in the ERP system and navigate a computerized data entry system or other relevant applicationsHandles some customer service inquiries and problems via the telephone and email Calls are predominantly routine, but may require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures.Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshootingKnowledgeable of the organization, products, and/or servicesMaintain an understanding of parts that have been returned and their status.Must keep appropriate stakeholders abreast of problems/solutions and achievement of KPIs. Responsible for managing sometimes complex Projects that will develop new business processes or to correct/update old processes.Work with the appropriate stakeholders to conceive and develop solutions to complex administrative problems using professionally accepted techniques, practices, and/or procedures.Qualifications
Supervisory experience, Change Management experience, and experience building and growing teams to meet goals and expectationsWilling to work overtime as needed.Some heavy lifting may be required when moving parts out to the Production floorPPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
