Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesOverall responsibilities and duties:
Analyze the external behavior of Clarion products together with the departments involved, to determine the root cause of the problem reported by the client and establish action plans to eliminate them, carry out the respective follow-up to avoid their recurrence, with the final objective of continuous improvement.
The main missions of the role are:
o Quality Scrap handling for Warranty topics.
o Updates and/or prepares performance reports in the field for products manufactured by Clarion Electronics through Technical Service Reports, Customer reports to evaluate the quality of the products.
o Validates the Warranty analysis reports of the Warranty Technicians. Follow up on customer complaints using the 8D's methodology.
o Provides feedback to the areas responsible for reported field problems and coordinates the preparation of action plans, to eliminate the root cause as well as areas of opportunity for improvement.
o Participates in the validation of the implementation of countermeasures in the Production areas and confirms the clean point of the batches with corrective action.
o Attend training courses according to the established program, to reinforce and update your knowledge and skills and / or acquire new ones.
o Applies and supervises the performance of the 5 "S" in your workplace and area, to ensure that workplaces are in good order and cleanliness.
o Update at least once three years or when required the Organization Manuals, Forms and Instructions and Procedures of the Integrated Management, Environmental and Materials System, by reviewing them, to have accurate and timely when required.
o Coordinates the direct work of the Analysis carried out by the Warranty and Service Technicians.
o Participate in conducting internal audits of the Company's Quality System.
o Support and participate in the creation of methods to ensure the performance of the site’s management systems.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: Bachelor's degree studies in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
o It requires 2 years of experience in Quality (preferably in Warranty area), Production or Engineering, as well as in the management of quality systems in supplier companies of the automobile industry.
o Basic knowledge in interpretation of FMEA, Control Plan, SPC and Internal Audits.
o Experience in applying 8D's methodology ((including 5W/2H, Ishikawa, etc.).
o Management and interpretation of databases to identify the main problems and trends with clients using Pareto diagrams.
Skills and competencies
o Knowledge of IATF16949.
o 8D's knowledge and analysis and problem solving.
o Leadership and autonomy.
o Active team member with great communication skills.
o Management skills within the multidisciplinary team environment.
o Language: Desirable 70% English language.
o Basic knowledge of Mexican health, safety, energy, and environmental standards.
o Basic knowledge and identification of environmental aspects and impacts.
