Role Description:
Assists the Maintenance Supervisor and the Site Manager in developing classroom academic, Plan of Instruction, POI, examination materials, classroom and practical application instruction periods, and student evaluations of academic progression and practical application skill development. Conduct aircraft maintenance and inspection platform training related to aircraft powerplants, aircraft subsystems inspections, and maintenance activities on various rotor-wing aircraft such as UH-1ST.
Essential Responsibilities
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in developing formal classroom courseware to ISD standards in English and Spanish in compliance with program training standards, student learning objectives, and maintenance and repair procedures on UH-1 and series helicopters. Assists the Maintenance Supervisor in classroom and practical application training sessions, monitors and evaluates aviation maintenance students, and performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and inspections of aircraft and equipment to ensure safety of flight compliance with technical directives, maintenance directives, and OSHA and Department of State regulations. Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining an aircraft maintenance database related to student aircraft, maintenance training, and other Microsoft Office applications to track and report student training progression and certification. Provide Host Nation Mechanics and Crew Chiefs Initial and continuation with formal Training in order to complete their OJTPQ Task Book. Develop and utilize training documents such as course POI, practical application guides, student evaluation forms, instructor guides, and exam documents while adhering to sensitive document control procedures. Provide on-the-spot immediate corrective instruction to aircraft maintenance students and personnel as necessary. Ensures 100 percent compliance with USG and AAR workplace and aviation maintenance safety practices, including FOD Control, Tool Control, Tool Room Procedures, Hazardous Material procedures, and environmental safety. Perform Task certifier duties for all related Maintenance tasks in the country. Perform other duties as assigned.About Us:

Accredited platform instructor certificate. 3 years of experience performing aviation maintenance training instruction in a program and or aircraft maintenance school, i.e., INLA program, USAALS, IAAFA, BAMC, and or Fort Rucker or other accredited aviation maintenance training program. Experience in courseware for aircraft systems. Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance management programs. Must have thorough knowledge of hand tools, hardware, and equipment used in maintaining aircraft. Must be fully knowledgeable of all requirements within the Technical Orders as they apply. Ability to interpret technical data and articulate understanding to students. Working knowledge of Aviation Quality Control procedures, OSHA, and relevant regulations from the US Department of Defense and or the US Department of State. Effectively interpret the skills required of students performing aircraft maintenance and inspection procedures, as well as the ability to analyze inspection findings. Ability to travel to remote locations periodically. Spanish Level L-2, R-2 required in LATAM Programs. Speak, read and comprehend English. Position requires a U.S Department of State Moderate Risk Public Trust, MRPT.Compensation and Benefits:
